Then the layoffs should start - and it's not going to be pretty. Mid-July is the latest I've heard, which means right after the Fourth of July and the following week are done. At least they are letting us go through this weekend and celebrate in peace so...small favors, I guess?

Everyone posting here is so funny. We said the exact same words 10 years ago. Did you not learn????????
They don't forget, they don't care.
Really sad to learn of many senior executives allegedly being paid for hitting targets for "reducing spend by reducing headount in the 2018". They seem to forget it's people's livelihoods they are playing around with.
This is a really sad piece of information as I know that many senior executives were paid and also given "golden handcuffs" as they'd hit targets for reducing spend by reducing headount in the 2018 round of cuts along with the smaller subsequent reductions. Surely if there are still massive holes in the expense base the board and ionvestors must now be looking at those who created the headocunt and cost reduction strategy and seeing that they've failed, again.
A self proclaimed innnovation and PR machine that makes no real return on equity fopr investors and creates the illusion of increased revenues by recycling business between products must surely be looking at the capability and background of those in charge. One would think, right?
You may be disappointed it many will be devastated, this is a cruel time for making redundancies, doubly so when the CEO sparkles around increased revenue and growth targets, seems in the technology space many will go due to an accounting disaster and a budget hole ... Awful really...
This date has been mentioned several times here. If it doesn’t happen Im going to be disappointed.
Will this layoff be IT only or other depts? Asking for a friend.
