Want to hear a really good joke?

Here's the real test: If "NextGen" products were any good, then why doesn't ADP eat their own dogfood? Seems to me, ADP hasn't taken any leap towards putting their own internal processing on that tub of garbage called Nextgen! ADP has become the Kmart of payroll, and their logo change and UI hype isn't fixing anything, just like Kmart!

@fpdx+15WUIDFA speaks the truth - I cannot go into details, but if one were to look into the history of those products, and the history of the Chelsea office, the length of the lease ADP signed for that space, the money they have poured into those teams, and the absolute pittance they have achieved as a result (start with the # of paid clients)............... one might start to understand what is truly going on at ADP.

The NextGen products are Kabuki theater. Lot's of show but little content. Under the covers they are horribly written attempts at software with all focus on the "look". I know this firsthand. They are completely a joke but being sold like a miracle elixir that will cure all but in truth is just pure hokum.

For Post ID: @cmnk+15WUIDFA I'm not trying to be provocative here seriously, I'm just wondering if this is your opinion based on negative experiences with ADP or if you have deeper knowledge of Next Gen. Would the developers in Chelsea have the same opinion or are they going to love it just because they've worked on it?

Yes, seriously! All the paint and hype and lies won't fix the Nextgen products. They are seriously bad under the covers. Seriously bad.

A tech company??!! LOL! Radio Shack with their Tandy Computer would be more reliable.

Yes indeed - the outages that upper management dutifully hide and cook the books on on a regular basis. See how high and fast a director or above can jump... casually mention the word "CIRT" in passing conversation.

Wow, to get a steady flow of product outtage emails is a ton of stress. On top of the normal daily stress. How awful! Sounds like the 'Development' team has their hands full too. Or wait, is anyone left in Development??

We get outage/issue emails all day long, all products across the board. Unreal.

My grade school child could probably come up with better technology. Someone needs to tell the salespeople when they sell to state that. Currently clients think we are CPA's, HR experts not to mention payroll experts. Which a lot of the old timers are, of the few that are left.

@2clr+15WUIDFA - NexGen products like Lifon is like milk carton sitting in the refrigerator for too long. Nationals clients will get to smell and tell if milk has spoiled .

I can slap some paint on any piece of junk and a certain percentage of the population will always say "Wow". Under the hood of the NextGen products is just horribly architected and written software. There is a lot of vaporware and a ton of missing features and people acting like hamsters doing stuff by hand behind the scenes. I sure wouldn't be trusting my business to these products at this point in their life. But then again, I wouldn't trust any company sending my information halfway around the world to nations that can't speak English very well and aren't able to even carry on a decent conversation and have no idea of the American laws and requirements. But then again, to each their own, and I hope it works for you!

Awards gotten by way of paid shills promoting the products in the usual channels don’t turn into more sales. All recent products are just gimmicky new designs that look innovative but have few new features. aDP is just playing catch up with their competion.

For poster @1msk+15WUIDFA the Next Gen products are garnering a LOT of attention in the industry and they've won several bits of acknowledgement & awards. Those are some of the products Carlos is proud of.

Maybe his "2020 Vision" Posters? Cute and clever play on words for his plan to layoffs 20,000 people he had plastered all over the place in plain view without people realizing what he was doing.
