There is nobody left to lay off

Am I the only one who can't understand why this company keeps laying off more people when we are having trouble doing everything that needs to be done as it is? Do they expect us to just keep picking up more and more work? Because I can tell you right now that's not going to happen. I'm overworked as it is, if they add something to my plate it's going to shatter.

Seriously the way it works newbies. It's about lines per 15,000 workers. In other words you only need so many workers per 1000 lines. In the days we saw one worker for 15k, so taking into consideration here and the 9% line loss per quarter, you'd need one worker for every quarter you bring in.

There's still people to lay off. Just wait until Sept. when the CA contract expires. Too bad, there are some are good employees, I feel bad for them, but the majority are useless. CWA was nowhere to be found in Jan. a lot of guys were looking for answers. Some thought there would be no lay offs and others thought that the lump sum wouldn't be affected by bankruptcy. Glad I left in Feb.

Wow, anonymous, I thought it was just me. They were retiring people for years and not replacing them (to save money). Equipment got more and more run down. Troubles/appointments got missed and jobs were completed half'assed.....more angry customers, late delayed fixes, more lost customers.
What a way to run an "airline". Where's Frank the Buffalo now that we really need him (what a dumb idea ad campaign)?
