Both of my daughters work for Starbucks and were offered the severance packages. One of them is mostly safe because we only have 1 SBUX where we live, but my other daughter runs a Denver store. She denied both packages and decided to take her chances.

My daughter “separates “ from Starbucks today. A shift supervisor- she was only given 2 days to choose between 3 options - to stay, take leave of absence or separate. Her manager strongly advised her to separate as her hours would be cut. She just completed her degree at ASU through the college achievement plan - graduated Summa cum Laude so now hopes to find a full time job. 8 of the 19 staff at her store took the separation option. The leave of absence was only recommended for - for example Partners where their store was currently closed like at Disneyland. There must be thousands of layoffs at Starbucks nationwide today.
Did she deny the packages three times before the c— crowed?
