When was BHP’s last economic oil discovery?

When was BHP’s last economic oil (not gas) discovery through drilling and not acquisitions?

It’s not the quality of the discovery rather project services making a mess of the estimates, at least that was my experience on Stampede. They were way off on their estimates and added contingency on top of contingency plus had some strange infatuation with escalation. Strange strange organization.

BHP tends to grossly over estimate in the early stages making most opportunities commercially unattractive. Glad I’m no longer a shareholder.

Three years ago with Wilding being “economic”. Take that away and it’s been what, 10 to 15 years?

Last economic discovery was Wilding in GOM about 3 years ago. Also the norther TNT has discoveries are in appraisal and may be economic
