I don’t know if this is just my district or if this is company wide. Some older leads have been let go of have been offered demotions with a pay cut. Younger part time (probably min wage) are then being hired to fill in positions. The leads that are left will then taking on multiple departments. Our hunting department is now covering camping with no pay increase. BassPro/Cabelas have been dead silent on goals and strategy this year.

Well I don’t know about Cabela’s but my store removed half our leads saying we had to make cuts, only to hire anyone who would take minimum wage a week later. Just a bunch of part time kids running the store..it’s miserable.
I am at a Cabelas store ( for some reason postings are not going through on the Cabelas board here). We are getting back most of our employees at this point and our hours have normalized.
Which store are you at?
This is a standard practice at the corporate office and has been for years.
