Going back to the office?

Going back to the office? Do you people have concerns about getting back into the office? Or is everyone more comfortable working at home?

"We need to figure out the childcare situation first" - yes, because employers of any company are concerned about that. That is a "you " problem and not a "we" problem. Its not your employers responsibility to make sure you have child care coverage.

The big thump of layoffs is coming. SD has given just about every clue. Come July it will be a different company. You can feel it in the air.

Straight commissioned folks were not impacted by furloughs, they work for their pay. For the rest of us that were impacted, my boss man, was talking out of both of sides of his a**. Trying to have it both ways, don’t work too much but make your numbers. First couple of weeks i was worried then saw the 25% cut in my paycheck. So I gave myself the facilities/pack n ship hours of 6 hours of work. Don’t care cause Staples don’t care. Lay-offs are coming, SP don’t care.

I find it interesting that on a partial furlough that you are still working full time. I know that when it went down the big meeting that we had to attend made it super clear that you were not allowed to work more than your part time status. It could get you and/or the company in trouble due to the federal rules of furlough. I do know that some sales people who are straight commission paid have told me they are just working regular full time because they only get paid on what they sell anyway.

Productive working from home and comfortable coming back to office. I just want to get a full paycheck for my full time work. Those of us on a salary are working the same amount of hours pre furlough however only getting a percentage of pay and unemployment does not make up the difference. Bring back the performing sales teams and sales Management that are driving sales and can drive more. Businesses are going back to work we need to come back too.

They gave u that option? A lot of ppl had the choice of coming back into the office/store or being fired. Idk about many getting to work from home. I wouldn’t come back...at all
