Anyone know what the typical Encana/Ovintiv severance package includes?

Suttles cares about no one but himself. My understanding is employees were treated very poorly. Suttles philosophy seems to be to use people up and then spit them out. He should NOT be rewarded for running the company into the ground, his failed attempt at leadership is the reason stock performance is so dismal.

Each year of services you get one month, plus payout of your unused vacation, on top of a severance package that includes benefit. That is what I got but they may have changed.

Well, I can tell you, I was there just under 3 years and got 6 months. No LTI’s. Laid off today.

My guess would be no LTI payout since they paid out this spring with bonuses. But just a guess. The 2019 lay-off coincided with the LTI payout and bonuses for timing and they honored those but did not give any amount of the ones that were to pay out in future years.

Typically 3 months of Cobra coverage, one month of pay for every year of service, and 6 months of career service/resume assistance. The career service was awesome and the professional resume writing services were top notch. Everyone I’ve every known to be laid off from there has ended up better off, myself included, don’t look back.
