Thread regarding Teledyne layoffs

Teledyne's Corporate culture is a perfect example of "The Dan Principle" at work, an excerpt below.

The Dan Principle rests on the premise “All organizations will grow until they reach their leadership team’s level of incompetence”. All organizations (for profit or non-profit) will grow (sustainable increase in market share, number of products, number of employees, number of industries, or revenues adjusted for inflation) until they reach their leadership team’s (the decision makers, the people who influence and direct the course of an organization) level of incompetence (level at which growth is no longer sustainable and retrenchment, re-engineering, or reconstruction has taken over as the corporate culture) (2001).

This company has a culture of wrongdoing from top ro bottom. Competent engineers has either left or laid off because of hostile environment created mostly by different layers of management. There is no accountability and some incompetent managers like Scot Carpenter is driving a hostile culture and environment against those who want to do right things. Everyone still working in engineering is afraid of him.
