Nielsen has been laying off all employees who have been with the company less than 5 years. This is so they could save money on severance pay offs. Nielsen is known for layoffs and doing so during covid19 has been very hard on employees. A billion dollar company is leaving employees with income and insurance during a very trying time.

What you said is true, an entire team from my department less than 5 years all laid off. They decided to throw in one employee over 20 years to make variation. Even the department leader less than 5 years gone! Not to say within the 3,500 all types of merit years were laid off. Karma is going to get the Nielsen Company for laying off employees in the middle of a pandemic!
I was with the company more than 5 years and got laid off. But luckily I got a severance...I feel bad for those who didn’t. I wish them the very best while we all hit the sh–ty job market.
David Kenny needs to free up cash for his social justice causes. Employee lives don't matter.
This is not true in the least bit, speaking as someone with direct knowledge.
