What’s gonna happen to the legacy assets Lev & Tam and all the work for Egypt and Cyprus and dreams of a LNG plant or pipeline?? Think we get sold??? It’s a political nightmare that Chevron won’t care for. Not to mention the LNG and spot has rates are cheaper than we can sell.

I imagine the EMED assets were a large part of the reason they wanted NBL. They reap the benefits without the blood, sweat, and tears that went into it. It's a new market, with potential for expansion and little competition... so long as Israel doesn't shoot themselves in the foot (which wouldn't be surprising). Chevron got a steal of a deal.
It depends in large part on what Israel decides to do. A big part of the Israeli government wants to reduce or eliminate foreign control or influence over the resources. That's what kept Leviathan from coming on line sooner and why Noble had to sell several fields (e.g. Karish) in the area. Stay tuned
they gonna keep them. huge upside.
think they will piecemeal them off to EU companies
