Thread regarding DST Systems layoffs

No future here - sinking ship

Its just a matter of short time for health solutions. Poor leadership is sinking us. Hopefully, SS&C will sell us off before we are down to no employees left. There are not many of us left now. A new President of the organization is trying to bring key people back but is having a tough time getting the rehire approved to being key people back.

Yes more cost controls will be in place if they don’t make the numbers. The will probably reorganize groups but savings will be little.

Who in their right mind would work 80 hour weeks at this place? Shows you how STUPID some people are. You work like a slave, while Bill Stone reaps all of the rewards.

Bill bringing in more of his lackeys to act as moles and pretend they care so dont trust any of them. Just leave. At least many knew Hogan was a clown the first time he spoke and now everyone does. Covid is the only thing keeping health companies floating because no one will buy them and no clients have the manpower to migrate away but that will change.

And the new pres is just another regurgitated Stone hack pulled from retirement to bully the staff. The guy's going in position on big efforts is a threat to employment if it doesn't pan out. Understood that companies have to do well in order to even have employees, but, why would anyone want to stay at a place that puts your employment on the line, and nothing in return, day-in and day-out. There are SOOOO many better places to work - even during a pandemic. Stop making the billionaire owner who has no compassion for his employees richer! You're gonna make somebody rich wherever you go, may as well add to the bottom line at a place that gives back just a bit.

People have been writing posts like this since 2008, and they've all been right.

Get on LinkedIn and update your resume. Hopefully you'll get a few job offers and can GTFO.

Good luck to the new President of Health Solutions. We can not handle many more 80 hour weeks due to lack of people to support the few clients we have left.
