Talking with mgmt concerns that locations not making money. After labor day drop in business could result in another furlough. Nothing confirmed but anyone who was furlough before please safe your money.

If u are still furlough you won't get call back. I seen ppl still think they have job and around location ppl are laughing bc that person was "fired" . I had mgr say oh we aren't going call back so and so but no notification or not even updated in workday
Be real people. The travel and tourism industry is in bad shape. Delta and United are holding mass layoffs and Avis is no exception. For those that are being indefinitely furloughed, don't expect the lay off. They will just keep you at furloughed for business reasons. Save your money and find another job. And for those complaining about senior leadership... This is why we need to strive to move up! The higher you go, the more job security you'll have.
No one replies because everyone knows the truth and has for a long time. since Salerno left and Nelson and Larry took over we have become a greedy corporate machine who could care less about employees. The ultimate hypocrites as they preach take care of employees and offered no way to do so. ABG was once a good place to work, it’s just not anymore and people won’t admit it
There are many pages of smaller companies than Avis with tons of comments.
I have no idea why no one interacts. It just feel like no one cares.

We have ppl who were furloughed but we're never called back but haven't been fired. Like mgmt has said they aren't coming back but furlough employees have no idea ....very unethical.
Also our fleet being sent away
More furloughed people were terminated today in Tulsa. This business is going to hell!

Don’t worry Ferraro says business is getting better and a positive cash flow quarter is coming. But that’s for him and senior managers not you. So yes furloughs are likely.
