So glad to see the Cordano Crown crew gone! Our company is in a terrible shape due to many years of terrible management. DG needs time to get the house in order. There are still way too many mid-level management to get rid of. It's going to be worse, much worse, before it gets better. But still, glad to see a CEO to shake things up. Way to go, DG!

Clearly “Team DG” is trolling all the talk around the cluster that is Goeckeler trying to be a CEO. Cisco knew this was a no-go, too bad our BoD didn’t. What a huge mess and the worst part is, they don’t care if they have 100% turnover.
Weird. I asked if the SVP of Sales was still there and the post was deleted a day or so later - maybe because I mentioned him by name.
How bad HDD business put a operator level top management closed all shops of WD HDD business and pass all those business to Seagate and Toshiba. They used up all WD money and collected back a huge debt only from Sandisks. Finally win nothing.
If they were half as good at managing how other people perceived the company as Seagate was, they’d be winning the competition over. I could say a lot about the baggage that came with merging three separate companies, the handling of the Ultrastar brand, and the way things and people got reprioritized ... but I’m still pulling for WDC to come out the other side looking like roses and not a deer in the headlights, but only time will tell.
Siva isn’t a losing horse. Sean Hunkler has been an exceptional and inspiring leader during this time and our future.
Wonder why Goeckeler would come to a company that was so terribly mismanaged? Yeah, nothings been perfect but we have been through a ton and been successful last several years.
Siva... don't always bet on the losing horse please :(
Milligan being gone is the key here.
Not sure who this is referencing as a crew? Unlike “Team DG” there was no Cordano crew. Looks like someone from the Cisco crew that came over to WD is a little bitter.
Reality is there is a complete lack of confidence and faith in our CEO and his abilities. The market and analysts can see it. We need Siva and others in the leadership team to help guide him and help him to become a CEO before customers bail.
