Anyone hear about the changes to the BR dpt, which is now all specialists. Seems like a long con.

I hate to tell you all I told you so. Specialists took a pay cut no matter what the tenure was. L& D regional, sales regional, HR regional, DBR regional marketing will be 5 total US mark my words and the DBR's who were lucky enough to make it got a pay cut and demotion. WTF such a great company now just like many greats the sun has set on this organization.
We have all been dismantled at this point. 70%+ of marketing managers are laid off. Now all the BRCs are laid off as if this week. L&D reports to HR now. It has been a real sh– show this week.
It will be regionlized like all other functions. If you remember the graphic team laid the foundation and was the test for all of the changes. It needs to be consolidated, sales meetings dont happen anyways and covid proved they are a waste of time. MA's dont care and usually are too busy to get anything from them. i hope i am wrong but it seems to me that the shake up is going to be massive.
Educated guess? They chase off any remaining old-schoolers, hire a bunch of young Tech-Heads, then use the Specialists force and the brokers to go sell groceries. The 'Sales Consultant' will be a figurehead, given the CST will be there for order guides, new apps, AR, etc.........
