Bloodbath coming by 8/31. MGM needs to shrink down to abut 1/4 of the workforce remaining. Companies need to get really lean, really fast to survive the next 8-12 months of very low revenue. If your job does not directly generate revenue in the short term you should update your resume and be aggressively job searching now.

You mean if your not buddy buddy with the shady management . They outsourced union work, many times and have people with less seniority and classification working. They closed entire departments. No severance pay. People that have worked when MGM first opened and years and years of loyalty. Maybe business is slower but they are using it as an excuse. They did not take funding offered in April because if they did then they would have had to not reduce employees by 25 percent.. This was April when they planned this and knew. They are also getting 2020 bonuses over employees lifetime careers. It’s sick. They are heartless.
