Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

So with the capital raise I guess they will not be offering early retirement or laying off?

Opinions please as I really wanted to volunteer for early retirement before end of year..

Blah, blah, blah... seriously? Like a soap opera. Come back a year later same story... same idle jabber.

Pandemic be damned.

the excuse to shareholders was to pay off debt and debt interest.
The real reason is probably much more self-vested

I would happily take normal severance. I am ready for early retirement and I'm sure there are many many others. They just need to bring back the volunteer program :)

Travel industry is worse than when enhanced severance was offered.
Sabre received a virtual bailout from Fed. policy.
I have no inside info but best case severance will likely be normal severance.
