100,000 gallons of milk and 100,000 lbs of sour cream and culture addition for Le Mars

We just got word from management on the additional quota. I told all of you on here we can and will take on other plants work.

You are correct about Le Mars. Our culture team canโ€™t even pump out 10 vats a week when before back in 2014 they could do 10 vats a day. Pathetic. Just goes to show you that an elite operator or team can make or break a department.

Lemars us absorbing the DFA plant volume in Rochester, MN. Lemars is a high complexity plant. As a direct result, they will get thei @ss kicked in their backyard and Omaha/Lincoln footprint. This is because they're over extended.

$18 an hour start rate. Just a matter of time before you are forced to relocate to Le Mars or get sent packing to fast food.

Dean Foods moved me several times. Le Mars was the one place they wanted me to go to that I refuse after visiting. Sure, I could have lived like a king for what they were offering, but being a king in hicksville still means having to live in hicksville.
Very few plants at anywhere near capacity that couldn't take on that amount of work. Low cost of labor will be the reason Le Mars gets picked over any place else.
