Many of the employees were here less than 1 year and were high performing who were fired. The company uses their own AI to target and eradicate positions, factoring in geography, socioeconomic conditions, health data, and historical age related performance. It’s wrong but they have invested millions to find the right balance of production per head. Welcome to the machine.

True. We also pay external candidates 30 to 40% more so my guess is we overplayed on employees around the 1 year mark and we are restructuring our external pay to be more in line with CV19 unemployment demands.
That is the opposite I would expect. I expected to see folks that are older and have been there a long time with large salaries. I thought the like the younger group that will work harder and longer hours.
If they are keeping the folks that have work there a long time, that is interesting and unexpected to say the least.
