Thread regarding Micron Technology Inc. layoffs

They are making a list and checking it twice.

I could just be paranoid but I'm getting the layoffs are coming vibe. Managers have seemed super stressed the past week and less available. They are all scrambling to get ther teams out of the 'can work from home group'. Manger now see that group all of the sudden viewed as less essential. In the matter of a day we went from can likely work from home indefinitely to should be back on site already. Something smells fishy.

What these people don't understand is there are tons of higher paying jobs that done require you to hold your piss in and wear a bunny suit 11 hours a day. Micron will have managers doing PM's if they don't stop this.

Glad I am out of that place... Treat people like GARBAGE! Lots of people have asked me if I recommend working for that place and I tell all of them HELL NO!!! Been gone for about four years and best choice I have ever made...

CEO is a hack. Dude has no idea what he is even doing and can focus on dumb chit like diversity and inclusion, because it cost less to pretend to care about minorities then to actually pay people what they are worth. People straight up don’t care anymore, morale is f—ed and they know it

It so funny - scrolling through Facebook and seeing all the ex Micron managers who treated their employees like garbage now trying to sell real estate. While I'm making 100k/yr at my current job. From Operator to Baller. F U Micron management hacks.

My manager had a frank talk and mentioned that with the demand dropping for the product and economy not recovering anytime soon, micron will reposition itself and be ready for upcoming hard time. Do not expect salary increments or bonus. I would stay just for the severance.
