Last minute offer of lateral moves for nurses

So, what does everyone think of these offered at the last minute opportunities for nurse care managers to make lateral moves. How does this all fit in with the big ECOM push?

They started in 2018 reducing In home FCM's and have been working since that time to overall eliminate the program. Covid 19 was not a factor then and only moved the process further ahead then planned. I was one of those moved in 2018 and to be honest would much rather be in field. Telephonic rips your autonomy and independence. Honestly I hate telephonic and if wasn't so close to retirement I would have moved on. Very micromanaged.

Some regions are just dispersing to areas without the HCM input.

Yes we all know the restrictions with Covid. Humana has discontinued the in-home portion of visits for transitions and the long-term in-home program in case you didn't know previous poster.

Have you ever heard of Covid? That is why it changed. When Covid is not a risk then Humana will start sending people back in. It has nothing to do with telephonic. At this time in a pandemic that is the only way to manage members.

I agree with the previous poster. I never would've dreamed they would have discontinued in-home programs considering Humana wants to own the home so to speak. Obviously upper leadership favor the telephone program because that's where they came from? That's what I'm understanding is that upper leadership was originally part of the telephonic program. Lack of transparency continues in my opinion.

So everyone was offered guaranteed lateral jobs?? I think everyone is wondering where they will fit into this new MCG based CM model. There are a lot of different departments with CM’s & I’m not sure how many will be need for those interdisciplinary teams with one lead CM. It’s interesting that one lead CM might be managing 100-150 members?????

Sounds like they are just dividing everyone into groups instead of having all HCMs going back and forth. Still think a RIF is coming after part time is offered and 4th quarter earnings report comes in.
