Thanksgiving "Thorn" Style

The SILENCE from the CEO office in Columbus is deafening. No response to the announcements from Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowes, and many others, that they will be closed on Thanksgiving Day this year. Bruce's 1400+ Big Lots stores will be OPEN, mainly due to his greediness and lack of respect for our families. If you're not a stockholder, Bruce doesn't care about you. IF he had ANY decency, he would at least reduce our hours of operation on Thanksgiving. Looks like we'll be open again this year from 7am to 12 midnight, as we were last year....while most of the retail industry, other than d–g stores, will be home with their families. Bruce and his "board buddies" will be home with their families. The rest of us don't matter!

Well, Well, Well...will miracles never cease? Big Lots WILL have reduced hours of operation on Thanksgiving Day. It was announced this morning that we will be open from 7am-1pm on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2020. Thank You, Bruce, for showing SOME compassion for your staff. Our families are our MOST important possession, and all Americans should be able to at least spend an afternoon and evening with them. There is plenty of time for business the remainder of that weekend. Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!
