Question for estimators

I have noticed recently the gotcha guys or otherwise known as the trainers or reinspectors are in high gear to find something to write you up on. I am a veteran in the field and one of the few in my area that actually can repair a vehicle and have been with the company almost 25 years. They seem to be targeting veteran estimators who are good at their job and looking the other way at others that really could use to be trained or just don’t care and get their numbers because that’s of course the most important thing for the company. It’s pretty obvious to me they are looking to shake experienced higher paid estimators off the tree and make them quit. I know they don’t want anyone to get sick or die because that would cost them money but they would love to have you quit. Anyone else see this going on?

If you are at midpoint or above, you are target. Remember, if they don't like you or you don't "fit in" you are target. They will find a way to make your life miserable. Don't let it take your health. Not worth it.

It's happening across all business units in various ways. They're trying to thin the herd because they see the possibility of the next depression looming and want to hoard as much cash as possible to weather the storm. Thing is they won't be spared if it actually happens. Those who pull the strings are merely doing what they do.
