I was laid off. 15 week package. They were very stealth about it as it was embarrassing considering their record profits recently.
I was told today that they are looking to layoff 1000-1500 people within the claims department. Offering 10% annual wage as a severance package for anyone who volunteers to leave. Which isn't much lol. I recently left the company for a different opportunity, glad I dodged a bullet. Feel bad for the friends I have working there still.

And here we all sit waiting for these damn layoffs to hit...who, what, where, when?? But yet they have thousands of consultants and offshore non employees. Totally taking advantage of the 50+ age group of employees.......

- Find number of outsourced employees in foreign countries
- Find number of management (high paid) that will be sacrificed by layoffs
