Thread regarding Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. layoffs

Look behind the curtain

Despite their vaunted “Gallagher Way”, AJG has shown little regard for employees if they believe they can make more money by dismissing them. Past contributions of the employee to the growth and bottom line do not matter. They pride themselves on the Ethosphere designation of one of the most ethical companies while justifying borderline ethical decisions based on the favored economics of the moment. To be sure many companies operate this way, but they generally don’t do it under a “we are Family” umbrella. THATis BS

Gallagher's first guiding principle is that they are a sales a marketing company which holds true to their used car salesman product. The company is run and managed by sales people and the "Gallagher Way" is simply another sly marketing tactic . Anyone that works or worked at this company knows that they have absolutely no moral character thus resulting in high turnover and nepotism.
