Thread regarding Dean Foods Co. layoffs

Is it true there will be more job cuts coming down the pipeline by DFA at the local level?

Anyone remember the thousands of hours that Dean Foods put into coming up with the “ideal dairy structure”. Each plant was supposed to have the same number of managers, supervisors, operators, etc. as other plants with the same volume. After months of work this “ideal dairy structure” was approved and then the comparison of the “ideal” was made to the current workforce and the “ideal” was going to require the company to hire thousands of more people. So the entire “ideal” plan was quickly sc-apped and buried and replaced with that Dairy Management System BS where managers and supervisors had to spend over half their week in meetings reporting the same never changing information day after day after day.
Depends on the plant, but cuts in salaried and office staff are a given in some plants. At some point these cuts may threaten DFA’s ability to meet all of the regulatory tracking requirements, but DFA has a history of not really caring about meeting regulatory requirements.
