C'mon Denbury peeps, somebody's gotta know something.

Definitely some dead weight in Asset Integrity that we could let go. I can’t believe some of the people they have choose to keep on the payroll. We let go of some really good, experienced people.
Probably wanted him to take a 50% paycut and couldnt figure out why he wouldnt accept. Better fill the position with a WOOD guy
Sorry, but his position was not eliminated, he made the choice to not except the new terms.
Your position is elimated is laid off!!!! That’s how it will be now. 1-2 here and there. No budget, no work, no job. Wake up!!!
To keep a job at this company it’s all about whose desk your under. Some people I know could s— a golf ball through a watering hose 😂😂.
These usually happen on Friday’s
That person was not laid off.
Op excellence and not the person who should be laid off.
What department?
Someone I know got “laid off” today. You better start kissing up to the right people!!!!!
Trying to keep everyone from walking out the door as soon as oil prices comes back and jobs open up again
Why does the staff and management deserve a bonus?????
If there was one it would be today or tomorrow before that bonus hits next week.
What does “today or tomorrow would be the day “ mean? Where are you getting this info that there will be a layoff today or tomorrow?
Today or tomorrow would be the day. Good luck peeps!
Hopefully everyone at denbury has a plan b. I don't think anyone feels very good about their job right now
OE is the hit squad taking out who they don’t like.
Be careful voicing your opinions against them, only if you have something else lined up.
It is sad how much time and money are wasted in Ops "Excellence". The big brother mentality does not work (never has). If anything, some things are slower and more inefficient then they were before. They need to deploy that whole team in real oil finding and cost cutting projects.
He gets pretty sandy if you tell him that denbury isnt as great as he thinks. He acts like a 10 year old having a temper tantrum because they cant have candy for supper!
screw geotabs ipads and sap! We should write an email to the ceo and tell him exactly what we think about it.
Is the IT department still hiring “coaches/mediators” to help everyone deal with their hurt feelings! 😂
I dont think they would be upset if all company workers left and they filled position with WOOD.
Ops Excellence will have more $ to spend since there is no more debt.
More consultants to monitor us for months or maybe more Wood Contractors?
I think ankle bracelets to verify the lone worker time and geotab and sap all map. Keep everyone honest!
Layoffs????
I thought they were working toward 3 bosses and 2 VP’s per field hand?
Probably need to hire more people to monitor the excellence team to see of they are performing excellently
These field guys sure do complain a lot.
Maybe it will be in operation excellence! Cause they got enough time to look at geotabs instead of helping us make oil.
We are now owned by a private equity firm. Capital spend will be minimal and we will sell in next 12-24 months. They'll trim staff after beginning of year for sure. They don't need all of us to just stay flat on production side.
as useless as a lone worker and geotab. Tracking is the only thing they do
What are the chances of laying off SAP? Are we to far in? They have basically bought everyone in the field two devices because the first ones were not compatible. They are now only being used as a personal time clock.
Zero chance for a layoff next week
Who cares. We will be back at this point in 18 months.
I think the only thing that matters right now is are they having a layoff before the next bonus and where is the new office!?!
Does it matter
Which of the uppers own 10% of the company?
Could definitely use a cut in management. Over staffed at higher paid positions and never lost LTI. If the new denbury is going to be anything, need to let go of high paid dead weight
Overpaid technical staff? I took a pay cut when I came here.
Denbury has been overpaying their engineers and geologists for years - it's about time they cut their LTIs. I propose a fold down table for laptops in the restrooms because most of them spend more time on the pot than in the office.
LTI cut equates to a pay cut for many of us
