Broadcom support is a joke, seriously I have customers who have outstanding cases for 2-4 weeks with no response from Broadcom support that is even slightly useful. This is intentional, support is about to get even worse because Distributors will bear the brunt of it.

Any other company is thousand times better than broadcom. Doesn;t matter which one you are divested to.
Why divested? HCL is a great company that values it's employees and pays well
Better call it super lucky to be laid off by Broadcom than being divested to HCL...
At least you got a heads up and notice. I got laid off with a phone call and was deactivated less than two hours later.
Use the time to find another job, there is plenty of stuff out there for folks with skills and knowledge.
Broadcom is going to just continue to squeeze customers that can't easily replace their products, but it will happen eventually.
Move on, you will be happier.
