I’ve heard our new District Manager is being very sneaky and taking photos of employees in other stores , trying to catch them off guard. He’s taking advantage of his anonymity to “blend in” like a chameleon. I find this to be very creepy and I question the legality of it. True, you should not be texting or ignoring customers, etc, but this is really a strange way to introduce yourself to the market. Is this how HD or JCP manage their stores?

They did this type of thing at Home Depot. They just ripped another page out of their playbook.
And other DM's are corporate kiss-As*es and just trying to bring about Marv"s utopia.
We live in an age where everybody is carrying a camera with them 24/7. Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s true. Some managers are true leaders and are there to help, while to others it’s just a big game of “Gotcha” and try to see what all you can find wrong in a store. Sounds like he must be one of the latter....
