That new culture being brought into the stores is all about managing by threats. Lowe’s used to be a fun atmosphere, and we all worked hard to achieve the goals for our store. The mood is so negative now. You can cut the tension in the air with a knife. Is this what you want? Are you trying to push the higher paid associates out so you can hire at a much lower pay scale (and no work ethic)

Oh its ALL about retaliation at Lowe’s. Constant and never ending. It’s not my responsibility to leave to get away from it, it’s Lowe’s responsibility to act ethically.

Lowe corporate is lost. They are truly disconnected from both reality, and store level operations. Ill be leaving Lowes soon along with everyone else.

I TOTALLY Agree, I was given an Ultimatum to do something that I didn’t feel safe to do. and was in a different department. When I refused, which Hr says you can do, I was told to leave for the day, 7hrs before my shift end. Then Retaliation and Retribution from SM, who refused to talk to me when I tried to have discussion with him.
This year is SO Much different, it did used to be ok place to work, pretty clear to me direction is set and will only get worse for store associations.
I resigned, i don’t need to be treated like that, do miss helping customers though.
