Thread regarding Lockheed Martin Corp. layoffs

Anyone having luck internally after Corp layoff?

Just curious. I was also affected, but it seems like unless I’m willing to relocate to Orlando or Dallas, there aren’t many positions that are available AND ready to fill. I’ve had more than a few experiences where the hiring manager admitted that the position was really something they were looking to fill in 2021, but put had already put the req out there to see what they could find.

Just curious if anyone else affected has had similar luck, or if everyone is just looking outside the company.

Kinda surprised by the lack of responses here.

My observation was that it was hit or miss. I’m aware of two people who were able to stay with the company, but also a few who were immediately brought back as contractors for a local firm.

I know more than a few affected by this, but only one who was able to find a new position with the company.

It required him to relocate to a new time zone for the position.

I know one person who did find a job internally but they had already applied prior to knowing they were getting laid off so they were able to have an interview soon. Please contact me on LinkedIn if there's any way I can be of help.
