March Update from EMEA:

10 people (about 7/8 fired and other 2/3 move to another company) are going to exit from Enterprise Studio EMEA.

Who will make the projects? (business units managers?? LOL) ) Who will sale some products?. This is going every day to a disaster situation.

who will join to the company to replace these positions?- NO body, no open positions again.

Some manager said that...

  • It seems that there will be layoffs in the US (high %)
  • PM will move, if is an open position available, to another HCL departament
  • EMEA consultants move to other HCL area, other CA products with projects or........

In general, People are very disappointed and frustrated. Waiting the email with the "layoff paper"

As you know, Sales team are (since a few months) selling Symantec products, so seems that they will be last "in the boat".

HCL just took CA service over so that Broadcom can avoid paying severance package to those people. HCL changed these services people to hourly salary this year. Many people have been with CA for 20+ years and got nothing after being forced out by HCL.

30% of the workforce will be laid off in a very short time.

The dismissal of ESD is just a matter of time, agreement with HCL is already almost completed. That will result in loss of all non vested RSU and working under a terrible management. Also, it's a bad time to jump the ship as nobody is hiring now.
Good luck you all fellows.

Business is totally dead. All customers are replacing all CA products due agressive renewals from Broadcom.

Support quality was decreased around 90%...

HCL is a totally disaster company. With this convination, you know what is going to happend.

Management is terrible and what you can expect from an Indian company... NOTHING.
