Has anyone who were not directly placed went through an interview? Was an offer made? Was the offer comparable/demotion/promotion etc? Any response would be appreciated.

Has anyone been offered interviews to positions that they applied in IT? How did it go? For those that had interviews have they received an offer? Was it comparable to the existing position? Is there any update on Severance? Any information that anyone has would be appreciated?
Don't take the severance. You'll make more money telling Kroger's secrets and will find a job easier for it too. Severance is NEVER enough, they scare you into signing. Don't do it!
2019 they laid off a bunch of SM making to much money - my spouse survived it, but resigned shortly afterward due to skeleton crews, a crazy racist DM and unobtainable expectations. Sounds like they are at it again I see..
They are purposefully avoiding all questions about the severance. Probably because no one will get any.
From what I’ve heard you have apply AND continue to do your current job that you have been told is too complicated for you basically. If you don’t apply. No severance. If you cause problems. No severance. If you apply and they offer you a job cleaning toilets and you turn them down. No severance. But hey. This is in no way shape or form a “reduction in force” per upper management. Not sure how you wouldn’t call it that. Oh and it’s NOT a cost savings reason either. But how much you wanna bet most if not all people will be offered a job at a lower level then what they currently are. That way they can save on bonuses and stock etc. they are strictly spewing lies upon lies now. I’m betting no one will get a severance unless you totally and completely tank your intereviews
