I don’t know if it’s a scheduling issue or if we just don’t have the manpower but we are running on empty here. We’ve got stations and registers understaffed and with all that, what exactly am I supposed to say when customers complain? We can see the fatigue in each other from being overworked and something's got to give. Either get the ASMs/SMs out on the floor working in the trenches with us or hire more people damnit.

They appreciate your work ethics by taking that 50% comp and putting it into the IT that will replace all of you.
We haven’t any hand soap or paper towels in the employee restroom. During a pandemic. Customers walk right up your face, shoving their goo covered plumbing parts in it, asking for you to find it.....while you’re surrounded by four other impatient customers from 1) Appliances 2)Electrical 3) Fashion Plmbg....while... they are screaming over the intercom for Code 50’s up front. Fun Times!
Pulling 50% comp over last year and only have the hours available to have one person manning 5 departments. Seriously, only one person covering appliances, flooring, paint, millwork, and home fashions.
Supply orders have been halved from whats ordered. We've resorted to having to not give customers bags unless they ask since we've gotten in 3 boxes of bags out of 9 that we ordered. Been told that we need to make due with it.
At this store there is no toilet paper, shrink wrap, install folders or printer paper
