Next round of layoffs at Altice?

Do we know anything new?

Three new contracting companies (that I know of, could be more) were hired to do work for ATS over the last few months. And yes, they do FTTH installs. They also do work, including FTTH, in union areas. At this point the number of contractors surpasses the number of in-house employes. In my opinion, layoffs are on the horizon and when CBAs start to expire, they'll hack away at the union depots too. Everyone will have their day. Contractors do twice as much work and cost significantly less than paying in-house employees. Is the work done correctly? Absolutely not. Does Altice care? Absolutely not. Altice can profit more money from the work done by contractors and if you haven't figured it out yet, money is all they care about. Bottom line is that union or not, Altice will inevitably run this company exactly how they want to and nothing will stop them.

what is the U going to do when USA separates from ATS? Most of the contracts do not fall under ATS.Dummies, there is nothing in there that says "what if AUSA unloads us". That doesn't count as being sold.

There are still union contracts good luck breaking that. Cannot make us piece work. If you are non union they can do whatever they want to you unfortunately. Try and ger union in keep it low key this company is ruthless. All the best. Push safety contractor work fast but do not follow OSHA regulations.

LOL... Have fun working for that garbage company! So happy you work for that terrible company and you're so miserable every day. You bum a– biatch. And stop with the node split joke. You're such a corny muthafucker. When you start your route, just think about how much you hate life and also think about how much I'm laughing at you.

Didn’t know there was any one left out there. Maybe in stead of complaining on this site all day, you could fix our c-appy service!

Well, ATS is going to brake off independently from AUSA. Meaning it’s own contracting company. What does that mean? It means you will get paid by the job not hour. They made deals with other companies Comcast etc to contract work from. That’s why there up our a– with repeats. Shine the terd first. So if your someone who only does 5 jobs a day you just won’t get paid as much.
