Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Student faculty ratio of 70 to 1?

How is this manageable, especially with the pay teacher's get?

So the logical thing to do is write MiddleStates, define the problem, explain the issue, and ask them to investigate. They will have to look, UOPX will have to respond. If the accrediting agency says "duckie", then the graduation rate is acceptable and so is the pay for adjuncts along with their class size. If MiddleStates says one or more things are unacceptable, UOPX will have to file a mitigation plan.

If there is anyone who is willing to do something, someone who feels guilty for being part of this dirty business, please consider talking to David Halperin at the Republic Report. He says he will work on a story if someone will talk.

College Navigator also reports that only 127 FT instructors for 94,000 students in the AZ-online segment. And its overall graduation rate is 15 percent.
