Word on the street is AUSA is having another round of lay-off soon. Anyone confirm or deny this?

It’s funny how you think contractors can’t do fiber to the home. Verizon has been hiring contractors and using them for years and it’s never been an issue for them. If you think your job is safe, you’re an absolute fool.
Laidofff ATS field service tech from 5-12-20 out of Piscataway.
How are ATS techs doing out there any new BS to report from the worst company I ever worked for?
Nothing of lately in NJ. Just VRP
We're all contractors! And I do the same kind of work because I am a contractor for ATS. I'm not doing any extra for this company. I guarantee most of us will be gone soon. If you guys haven't noticed yet, we're still in a pandemic and the company still has the easiest excuse to let go of more workers, regardless to them falling on hard times, which they obviously have not. They will be letting go of more workers in every department. It's hard not to believe these rumors because it's the perfect scenario for them. I'm lining up interviews now and hopefully I can remove myself from this madness!
No. Contractor's are doing abysmal work doing ftth. Completing jobs with nothing on account and getting paid then having ats go back and do complete install. Or if its more then 2 poles they send in cust wants to reschedule even though they never spoke with cust. Or they use the 600ft excuse. They did my neighbors install. Nothing works. They spliced the output in pdo and told him internet will be on in a couple hours. Then duct taped the can to the strand. When they work in pdo with multiple drops. More then half the drops will be cut by the time they are done. Butcher's.
Let’s be honest most ATS techs can’t do installs. Customers could not be worse
I'm just waiting for the day for them to shut down ATS.
Yes contractors can do the install and they will. Were so done and they are going to dump us when it hurts . Right before the holidays.
Self install , contractors can barely do an install how he hell are customers going to do it..🤔🤣
dkb+17e7ZiKT is that true they got rid of compliance groups? They only had a few left after April. I knew most of them wish them well.
The goal was to have NO techs on the AUSA side. The last few will be weeded out they always stay true to their plan. FACT.
There's been a heavy amount of layoffs and elimination of multiple departments in the last few weeks. The majority of the company is outsourced to other countries and that now includes the corporate complaint team that handles fcc, bbb, and attorney general complaints as well as the team that handles written complaints.
How is that in any way a confirmation,?
Just stop the fear mongering and try posting actual FACTS when you reply
Yes. It’s confirmed. When they said self install they literally meant your on your own . No staff needed .
