I am a former GED employee based in Vancouver. I frequently travelled to SR office, and witnessed its sad decline . Every subsequent visit was a scene of dwindling headcount, declining morale and pall of gloom, especially after the ServiceMax team decamped for their new offices. Calling on my former GED colleagues to comment on the current vibe there. They still playing the sad video loop at the reception desk? That was a testament to the past "glory days" with former execs hyping the Industrial Internet and Predix vision. Hope they pulled the pin on that piece of video history.

Thanks @Wunk+17fDwILA !
Thats what I thougght...no vision, no hope. Nothing's changes since I left....sounds like @Qxtt+17fDwILA is one of the last laggards hanging on.
Good luck to all!
There is no vision. End of story.
Doing better without you
How is Pat B doing with his "Big Vision"? As everyone scurries off for Lock-down turkey, does GED have any prospects to be relevant in the industry? What's the vibe at GED?
Step one–stop the bleeding, clean house and get a reading on the business so that we really know what is there. Theses were Byrnes initial orders. Step two–bringing in the "visionary" plan.
The business is still lacking direction/strategy/product/leadership - the worst is still ahead. Customers will not invest further in anything but legacy GED offerings until there is clarity on these critical items. Cost cutting and reorgs are not leadership.
worst may be behind GED and SR. Its been under new mgmt and they have really cleaned house.
We are working from home so the vibe is whatever you make of it.
Yes, surely the recent SEC Wells notice will not be a boost for morale
"Pall of gloom" evident elsewhere than SR?
That is one of the offices in which morale is higher....
