Where Do Bonuses Lie With Merit Announcement?

Now that merit increases are off the table, has there been any discussion on where bonuses lie? Do regular employees still get their bonuses, and as someone mentioned during Bob Live, I’m curious if the C-suite is offering to take a nickel off their salaries or bonuses?

VIACOMCBS should be following the lead of other media companies and cutting salaries and bonuses starting at the top. It is unconscionable to accept millions of dollars in salary and bonus when lower level staff can’t even get a 3% raise.

they need to move all the shows out of the broadcast center so they can sell the broadcast center

Election Night coverage from set at 1515 Broadway - so whoever was laughing that the Morning Show would broadcast from there might actually be correct. king ng & O'Donnell from 1515

the broadcast center is for sale so the shows like CBS this morning have to move somewhere else, where the shows move to is to be determined

Only an id–t would move cbs This Morn to DC when virtually all the in-studio guests would be in NYC. What celeb is going to fly out of the way to DC? Or fly in the first place b/c of covid. The bulk of guests live in or visit nyc and the rest from L.A. - unless the id–t plans on doing Zoom intvws forever

Not at all true about CBS This Morning moving to Washington DC. If the poster thinks/knows otherwise, post some facts, not speculation.

does not apply to collective bargaining agreements, though no one has mentioned IBEW placing the Big Rat outside CBS This Morning's sidewall - because CBS is performing work supposed to be done by techs

Totally wrong, bonuses remain to be seen. Period. Yes, the wealthy will still receive them. They deserve it.

Yes, bonuses will be paid. You have to make a certain salary to be in the bonus pool. It's not as high as you would think.

Well said. Ditto. As long as the do-nothings get paid extravagant salaries, everything is fine. Who do you think you are?!

5 useless EVP’s gone would = at least 25 real jobs saved for each useless EVP. And we don’t need any of them!
