If we were told that we did not get the position we applied but we have a job until May, what happens next? Will be included in the RIF? And does anyone know when the next RIF will take place?

I’ve been a nurse long enough to be able to move around and still give quality care and support to a member. If you work for Humana you have to be flexible if not you probably need to look for another company to work for.
Hold on tight! Slamming nurses with members and moving staff back and forth. They may decide that we don’t have enough nurses for all this you think?!!! Quality is going down the tubes as we speak.....
What departments were there layoffs in this time? That’s odd that they said you have a job until May. The pattern has been 60 day notice of lay-off & during that time you look for positions & get a severance package. How many were told they were being laid off?
They said salesforce would be coming in next year not sure if that will affect the claim department or not
Yeah I thought that was strange for them to say we would have a job until May. I'm thinking the next round of layoffs will occur maybe at the end of this month. I handle claims.
Just find something else...it is not worth staying in that position as they will overwork you...they are shifting most if not all patients from HAH to Landmark and Kindred and other subsidiaries
to boost their star ratings when it comes to their insurance....happens every year we cut some and move the goal post for the Humana stock to be up. Your best best...apply in January or February internally...i been doing this for years now..trust me
Strange they would say you have a job until May.
Reach out to a recruiter to see if they can help
So you did not get another position but you were told you will have a job until May? What area are you in? Sounds like they are guaranteeing your present position until May and that’s it
