November right around the corner! Word has it from Tulsa, another 20 - 30% reduction in force or their words "Strategic Staffing Plan". With this many layoffs, is Williams getting ready to sell? Stock in the red for the year, can't get ahead due to terrible management at all levels.

Why nothing in the news, with this so many cut it would be in the news. This seems like a bogus and trick post, will see. Read the earnings report today to get a better feel of their plans. If it was significant it will be significant if not this may be a bogus post.

The had handwriting was on the walk when they fired the best and brightest and most dedicated hard work employees in 2016 because they did not have talent. A Williams code word for being over 50 and washed up.
“ It's probably just one dude”. Funny thing about the layoffs, it actually is William's go to move - several times over now. Or is it just you raking the coals. Also, I don’t think it’s just “dudes”. Or is that core lack of Williams diversity problem, rearing it ugly head yet again?

This is William’s 50 years old and 50 cents worth (less) outdated stock holder appeasement doctrine. The useless and reactionary - immediate pain and gain zig - zag “CYOA” play. It is a worn out, ugly and useless William fight or flight go-to corporate strategy that is worthlessness in today’s fast moving and able to adapt to the economic enterprise “big picture” forward thinking fiscal strategy.
Exactly. Regarding, layoffs and dismissal's - Williams is the equivalent of a “50” cent car wash. Stock price goes down - wax off. Stock price goes up - wax on. Unbelievably predictable.
Really? Anyone who currently works here (or has previously previously worked here) know’s with Williams you are just a number. And If you are not in management - the magic number is generally +50. Don’t you ever forget it.

I agree doesn’t look like layoffs, investors aren’t calling for blood since the stock price seems to be stabilizing.
Corporate has unfreezed hiring and promotions this month. Doesn't sound like there are any layoffs. I don't understand why some continue to post about impending layoffs every couple of weeks other than have nothing better to do.
Another baseless claim started to create unrest, please utilize facts or keep to yourself.
