What makes me laugh are the "automated systems". Twice now I've seen DXC sell automated analysis to clients, where the automated system is actually a team of graduates in India working with a batch of Excel spreadsheets. The client very quickly realises that the automated system is just so much BS. Like the rest of DXC.
Once the job market rebounds, DXC will see a real exodus of the good people. Salvino will still be doing the 'Comical Ali' routine of "nothing to see here, everything is awesome... oh by the way I've brought in another amazing Accenture exec".
I think they should change the name every few years to remove the bad reputation it has, how bad it treats the staff.
Like changing your password regularly maybe AXE or Exe would would be more appropriate.
AXE would be what it's good at.
And
EXE means it's only for the executives to milk the company dry, the staff can have 0%.
Unless it’s in the same industry, or a customer close to the work, no one knows of DXC. HP still holds brand value globally. . CSC too except in a very small segment of the market.
A lot of companies know nothing about DXC. Unless you've been at DXC or are one of their customers DXC isn't even on the radar. This may or may not hold true in India where DXC was the place you went to learn and immediately moved on to a better job within a year.
You do bring the knowledge about how not to do things.

You keep dxc on your resume but just lie about what you actually did. Don’t tell them you were given 40 hours to complete something you could do in 30 mins because management was so clueless.

Exactly. I would much rather explain “nothing” than list DXC as my previous employer.
Real employers will take a chance on someone with a 15 year void on their resume rather than some dullard who could do no better than wallow in the sludge known as DXC.
DXC means in IT industry low life wasters. India and UK employees especially.

I left voluntary and having DXC on my CV wasn’t a problem at all. In the right network and circles your experience and pedigree means more than the name of the company. Some of the largest brands I have worked for have been the worst for most things. DXC did me a favour by furnishing me with lots of redundancy cash and I got a new job paying much much more. Some great people are left in there but very few , the good ones took the money and ran
Including DXC on your resume is like including a bankruptcy, a divorce, an infamous crime against nature, or any other type of negative activity. None of these, including work history at DXC, belong on a resume.
