Mortgage is going to be hit from the IT side. A new 3rd party will be taking over this area. Sadly, only the leadership will be given priority with identifying a new role, while the soldiers are given a small severance.
Same with the CITO who by the way has no technical knowledge and only "borrows" fake experience from resumes received from people that actually have real talent. ETO leader, CITO and CISO have broken the IT department and brought everyone to their knees with their horrible decisions, lack of tech understanding, lack of people skills, constant lying, and disregard for their employees time and efforts. Also, constantly hiring their friends by all three has further caused turmoil. Layoffs at this time is actually a gift for employees as all three so called leaders are nothing more than an embarrassment for the VP of technology and his boss along with the CEO.
Please tell me they are going to get rid of the ETO Leader and his horrible leadership staff. And maybe as a bonus hire a real CISO and bring in leaders that actually inspire people compared to threaten them. I never seen anyone with "Little Man Syndrome" more than the ETO leader and the CISO. Psychologist could use them both as case studies.
