Remember when Salvino said that those people who weren't customer-facing or genuinely adding tangible value would be for the chop? It seems that he and his cronies fit firmly into that category. It's an ever-expanding layer of executives management lording it over a diminishing pool of technical experts. Definitely a real sh*tshow. The guy is a psychopath, gaslighting everyone on his townhall propaganda calls.

There is no start of "new" DXC, there still is L-ES and L-CSC and until we can do digital transformation internally we can't sell it to our customers

The next week will be a tough ride.
2Q numbers // strategic decissions // finalisation of customer contract corrections // start of "new" DXC

and on top of that US elections and Covid-19 pandemic

If he can sell it and pay down debt or give a bigger dividend to shareholders, he will do that. He is only concerned about the current stock price and what stock options he can be awarded if the stock price goes up.

Whilst as CSC And DXC found that Nobody is safe from the WFR Chop even if you're demand, billable and busy.

The question is when will WFR happen.

W&M staff will be safe from WFR bo such offers happening this week to my knowledge and I know senior people in this business. W&M is a top performing business with a huge future. I'd be quite confident that Sal has seen the light and thanks to COVID he is going to retain this business and it's people and will rebuild DXC around it. I could be wrong, time will tell

Nothing new here. There is and was no protection. Large retention bonus and letter from Maria saying how valued I was earlier in the year. 50% paid up front, the other 50% if I stayed until the sale. Redundant in the summer - despite being funded in full by major client. No one is safe. Now working for a competitor and we have loads of business. Stress of working for DXC and that s**t Salvino gone.

"People in W&M were notified of layoffs yesterday, last day this Friday. "

Which region is this?

Such lies, no one getting laid off from W&M. Now is not a good time to be scaremongering people

Have been waiting for this layoff from Workplace & Mobility but it hasn't happened. I think we may have turned the corner and are going to be kept fully intact within DXC and not sold off after all. rumour that Maria Pardee has left and replaced by another former Accenture exec which if true is a further indication to me that W&M is staying in DXC

What's in the store?
For employees it's obvious: getting layed off.
