There is always more layoffs on the way
People in organizations are being let go or jobs shifting under them they have little choice. It’s laughable that WD talks culture anymore. It’s clear this is not a company who cares about its people. Not any more. Crazy how in 7 months this guy came and trashed our company. Wasn’t COVID, the market or the debt, it’s the utter lack of leadership by Goeckeler and care from Our head of HR who seems to just be going along opportunistically. Sad.
It’s clear people are being forced out at all levels. Goeckeler and cronies won’t talk about the people leaving and are shutting all spigots of information other than what they deem we need to hear. The Cisco people who are coming to join this train wreck should beware, yet maybe they already know if they drank the kool-aid before.
The good news is there are also lots of people resigning and getting jobs (more $, better benefits, clear company focus) at companies who do believe in culture, their people and understand what leadership should look like. There is hope outside of WD.
I've been hearing some stuff, but I want to confirm it before I start worrying.
