Mid level corporate to from what I hear. People gonna see what they can get by with without over site. Quality down, short term profits up; then down long term.
All plants have been forced to lay off HACCP & QA techs and supervisors. The Noel plant has eliminated 1 HACCP and 3 QA tech positions, the HACCP supervisor was also laid off. The Center plant laid off 6-7 FSQA techs. This is part of an effort to save the department $2million dollars. Of course, no upper management employees in the department where affected by the job cuts. Expect a significant decline in quality of the chicken provided that will not be enough employees to adequately inspect the product that is produced.
