Thread regarding CA Technologies (CA Inc.) layoffs

A few points...

Some manager said that...

  • It seems that there will be layoffs in the US (high %)
  • PM will move, if is an open position available, to another HCL departament
  • EMEA consultants move to other HCL area, other CA products with projects or........
  • In general, People are very disappointed and frustrated. Waiting the email with the "layoff paper"

As you know, Sales team are (since a few months) selling Symantec products, so seems that they will be last "in the boat".

How much of the ESD services are left at HCL? I noticed a large number of my colleagues on LinkedIn became unemployed in October.

Will HCL give severance package to European employees? If so, that's much better than US based ones as there is none for them.
