Has anyone that has signed their paperwork gotten their severance pay? They said mid november... I think they are just dicking everyone around.

The Warn Act is a federal law and is not a part of the severance package. all info related to a package will be given to you on your last day in a blue folder. You'll get 60 days of base pay and your last week you get any CAL pay out. the following weeks you'll receive paperwork on 401k and Pension that is owed if you are vested. The Severance package is geared to protect GA from potential lawsuits and binds you legally to certain rules laid out. If you choose to accept the package it will be taxed so you will not get the full amount. i chose to shred mine and when i received a call from a company representative they told me to sing it and they sent me a fresh copy, i still opted not to sign. i choose to keep the second copy as a memento so i will never forget the worth and self respect i have as a worker.
If a layoff is coming again just be prepared for a sending off that is unprofessional and outright cold. Expect a short speech telling you how grateful they are for your ''many years'' of service and blah blah blah... SIGN HERE, "don't let the door hit you on your way out"
Question: If more layoffs are coming, can someone share what the severance package was last time? Is it the warn act: 2 months of pay?
Anyone able to show me a copy of that severance plan? Released from them 2 years ago and have a court case it would be helpful.
I was afraid of the taxes on that money. 50% is way too much. I wonder if we can change our W4 to have 6-7 exemptions so that the severance check does not get taxed so heavily.
Yes I got mine but they kept ~50% in taxes
They just be dicking everyone around...
