Do you predict that there will be Arrow Electronics Layoffs 2021? Any news or rumors?

Arrow Electronics in Huntsville laid off seven folks in Sept 2021 and moved the Quoting for AEC to Guadalajara. Replaced 7 with 12. I wonder how many managers got bonuses at the end of 2021 for making this happen?

The people placing our orders and dealing with vendor/customer post sales issues? That should go well...
ARROW ECS just laid off about half of the operations employees. Jobs to India.
Again.
PMO department was just told today that the team was being dissolved for those covering a large portion of their projects.
The first rounds of layoffs happened back in February.
Branch locations closing soon...this may be beginning of phase 2 of transition to Guadalajara?
I heard accounts receivable is being outsourced to Mexico. Best of luck to those affected.
Customer sales support was laid off (40-50 people between Denver and Minnesota) to hire workers in Guadalajara. Arrow is now hiring Material planners, and inside sales in Guad.

Accounts Payable is already outsourced, guess AR is the next step. Unbelievable.
Heard Arrow is laying off their Finance Accounts Receivable staff within the next 2 months. Outsourcing more jobs to save money rather than keep good loyal people. While all top rank employees get compensated with 6 figure salaries and bonuses. Go figure.
If Arrow wanted to be socially responsible, they wouldn't send American jobs to India. How many people could have been saved from layoffs if each board member & company executive simply took a pay cut of 1 million dollars each? Some of these people at the top make obscene amounts of money. Look at insider trading sometime! The rich truly do get richer while many lose an income.
Yes, without a doubt. We have layoffs every year. This year will depend on facility closures and what happens to the people in those buildings.
