Any idea on % cuts, rumor mill suggests up to 50% cut in exploration staff, seems high but no idea about development subsurface

I've been told the number of UPX positions in the Houston hub is "not materially changing", despite the fact that virtually everyone has to go through MOR. Evidently a lot of cuts will be occurring in Europe. I'll believe it when I see it.
Any ideas on how they will choose who to keep since most people sit on the strong category?
I hear it's around 15% cuts in the subsurface.
"very few JG3's with any development experience left in shell now. I find exploration staff too much in a silo very few know anything about development concepts, i hope they keep the ones that do, 1 subsurface will help that end to end business development"
Development also had relentless reorgs and movement of staff since 2015, so nobody develops enough deep expertise in one place. Everyone's knowledge is shallow. Exploration was far more sheltered, and you maintain skills.
Exploration gets 4 noncommercial wells out of 5, as per the usual statistics. Does one need to understand development concepts for those 4 dusters? Seems like a huge waste of staff time. That 1 discovery can get all the people it needs, once there is a discovery. The historical siloed structure actually made a lot of sense, given different strengths required.
One subsurface is the dumbest idea ever, a creature of inflamed imagination of 1 dutch megalomaniac, EV. The concept was channeled through another slick business dude, WS, who has no clue what subsurface actually does.
Wonder if they will cut more jg3, and keep the jg4 and jg5...its what happened in 2015..very few JG3's with any development experience left in shell now. I find exploration staff too much in a silo very few know anything about development concepts, i hope they keep the ones that do, 1 subsurface will help that end to end business development
I heard 40-50% JG2-A and 30% below that.
Rumor mill so take with grain of salt, I heard 30%
